From September 17 to 21, 2019, the 5th edition of the Benin DNS Forum will take place in Cotonou and Parakou in Benin.
Each year, the organizing committee chooses a central theme around which the Forum program is built.
For this new edition, the Benin DNS Forum will orient its activities and reflections around:
"Internet Technologies and Economic Perspectives for the Achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Benin"
Co-organized with ADN, the Benin DNS Forum exchange and sharing seminar this year takes the form of a multi-stakeholder meeting. Indeed, a point of honor has been placed on the diversity of actors while maintaining the quality of the participants in order to guarantee exchanges and reflections that are equally rich, useful and constructive. In addition to the public and private sectors, the players in this third edition of the meeting also come from the education sector, development partners, municipalities and local authorities, as well as several ministries.
Discussions and reflections will revolve around the central theme: "Internet technologies and economic prospects for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Benin".
Around the same table, around sixty actors, digital focal points in public and private administrations, consumer associations, academics and lawyers, development partners, entrepreneurs in the Internet technologies,…, will jointly address the major issues related to Internet technologies and the economic prospects that could allow Benin to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals by the announced deadline of 2030.
